About

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and grew up backpacking and exploring the nearby coastal ranges as well as running rivers above the Arctic Circle in Alaska.  I was awarded a Masters of Photography in 1996 and have taught photography at Florida Keys Community College, Utah State University, and Brigham Young University in Utah.  I also lived in Europe for awhile as a Fulbright Scholar.

My greatest masterpieces are my marriage and my 3 children.  I expect my children will outlive any of my photographs and will have a greater impact on the world.
